Abandoned Iron Mountain Ski Resort Near Sly Park Lake
The Iron Mountain Ski Resort Near Sly Park Lake and Pollok Pines, CA was one of the most amazing sights I have seen to date in California. I was completely un aware of this epic ski resort that was once a booming little spot and a full blown ski resort just outside of Pollok Pines, CA - East of Sacramento, CA and about 1.5 hours from where we live in El Dorado Hills, CA.The Abandoned Iron Mountain Ski Resort Near Sly Park Lake was full of old chair lifts, burnt down hotel foundations and lodge area's that I wish I was able to see in person, however this is my encounter which I feel I was lucky to have. It is too bad that people had to break all the windows, burn the structures and demolish this amazing piece of history. What a shame for the history of El Dorado County.
If you do have a chance, please visit this amazing Abandoned Iron Mountain Ski Resort Near Sly Park Lake and Pollok Pines, CA. This was such an awesome experience I had to share it. My buddy and I took my brand new 2014 Trail 4Runner up here to go do a little wheeling around and ran across and hidden Gem. Take a look!
